Treatment of sports injuries
Orthopaedics & Sport
Sport and orthopaedics go hand in hand. Particularly the locomotor apparatus of physically active people requires attentive and comprehensive care. Prevention takes priority. Whether practised as a hobby or professionally, physical activity should not cause injuries to joints, ligaments, tendons or muscles. An orthopaedic examination can detect deformities, differences in leg length, muscular imbalances and many other potential problems. This helps prevent permanent damage.
If you experience pain and restricted movement caused, for example, by a damaged meniscus, a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, a ruptured shoulder tendon, incarceration or cartilage damage requiring surgery, I can help you regain your optimal performance.
My success is based on my years as a top athlete, continued involvement with sport and sportspersons, the treatment of active athletes, as well as cooperation with experienced sports physicians and sports scientists.
